Media Advisory: President Clinton to Present the Inaugural Clinton Global Citizen Awards at Carnegie Hall

Members of the Clinton Global Initiative will gather on Thursday to recognize individuals whose efforts are significantly changing the world.

As part of the third annual Clinton Global Initiative meeting, President Clinton will honor extraordinary people making a positive global impact at the world famous Carnegie Hall on Thursday, September 27, 2007. The Inaugural Clinton Global Citizen Awards, hosted by Al Roker, from the TODAY Show, will include special musical performances by Tony Bennett and the African Children's Choir.

7:15 p.m. / Press Check-In
8:00 p.m. / Event Begins

57th Street and Seventh Avenue
New York, NY 10019

All crews must arrive at the stage door, 161 West 56th Street, at 7:15 p.m. to check in with Carnegie Hall Public Affairs

PLEASE NOTE RULES FROM CARNEGIE HALL:

Outlets wishing to cover the arrival shots at Carnegie Hall must pre-register with the Carnegie Hall Press Office by 5:30 today by calling (212) 903-9750. No photographers or TV crews can be permitted without prior approval by the Public Affairs Office.

Outlets covering the arrival at Carnegie Hall will have to register separately with Carnegie Hall to cover the event inside Carnegie Hall

Accredited photographers on assignment as well as radio and TV crews from regularly scheduled news programs are welcome to cover subject to Carnegie Hall's media guidelines. Photo agencies not permitted.
