Our Approach for Employers

While there are many energy efficiency programs in existence today, HEAL is the only model that marries quality of life, through its employee benefit component, with corporate environmental responsibility.  The program is also flexible: first imagined as a benefit only for profit-driven entities, the HEAL model has since been expanded to include municipalities and other publicly-funded bodies.  Whether implemented as a ‘self-funding' employee benefit program, or as one that connects employees with low-cost, third-party financing, HEAL provides employers with an opportunity to attract and retain employees, to reduce community-wide GHG emissions, and to support job growth in the emerging green sector
