The Library examines the impact the policies implemented by the Clinton
Administration
had on people's lives and the country.
Each exhibit is designed to promote discussion
on
a range of issues and are presented in a way to appeal to multiple
intelligences-
integrating multimedia and interactive elements with historical documents.
Project
Director Melanie Ide says the team reviewed up to 20,000 images and
artifacts
to select the best ones for the exhibit.
The museum traces the President's childhood
growing
up in Arkansas, his experiences at college and at Oxford, and how the
early
influences in his life shaped the ideas he had about policy, legislation
and
government.

Appelbaum says his team creates an interactive
theater
to help visitors better understand the subject.
"Instead
of sitting down and watching a play through a
proscenium,
you enter the proscenium. You enter the spaces, that in
this
case, (the Clinton Presidential Center) the President
worked
and developed policy in, like the Oval Office, or the
Cabinet
room."
Appelbaum and Ide believe visitors will
leave with
a comprehensive understanding of the Clinton Presidency and be
inspired
by the amount of work that was done in those 8 years.
