CEO Program - New York

The Clinton Economic Initiative's entrepreneurship program, formerly the Urban Enterprise Initiative, began in 2002 with a pilot program for small businesses in Harlem, and later expanded the pilot program to the New York boroughs of Brooklyn and the Bronx.

Today, the New York CEO program continues to work with small business owners in the areas of:

  • Accounting and financial management
  • Marketing
  • Information technology
  • Human resources and organizational management
  • Operations management
  • General business strategy

To date the program has provided more than 50,000 hours of pro bono technical assistance— valued at more than $14 million in professional service fees.

In partnership with Inc. magazine, CEO's entrepreneur mentoring program will help the next generation of Harlem businesses scale up their businesses and create economic opportunity.
