1. Position/Title: Web Producer (New Media Specialist)
Location: New York, NY

Description:

The Web Producer in the Department of Digital and New Media plays a key role in the areas of Web site design/development and online communications production. The Web Producer is responsible for developing front-end Web site components, managing and publishing content, integrating Web-based communication tools, building out Web pages, maintaining and updating Clinton Foundation Web sites, producing multimedia assets, and contributing to the design of new Web pages/sites.

In addition, the Web Producer assists with the development of monthly e-News, online fundraising projects, implementation of new Web site features, including media-rich components, and management and hosting of domain names. The Web Producer is Mac and PC literate. The successful candidate will demonstrate an attention to detail, be skilled at time management, communicate effectively, have the ability to work both as a member of a team and independently, and be committed to the mission of the Foundation and its initiatives.

Knowledge and Skills (Minimum Requirements):

  • Minimum three years experience in professional Web production, new media and/or interactive work.
  • Proficient with the following scripting languages and technologies: HTML, CSS I, CSS II, DHTML, JavaScript.
  • Experienced in Web page design, layout and construction – both hand-coding and using WYSIWYG tools, such as DreamWeaver.
  • Ability to develop and test Web content for cross-platform and cross-browser Internet display, and to manage content from a variety of departments (Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Development, etc.)
  • Demonstrated skill in application of Web usability standards, information design, and principles of search engine optimization.
  • Design and production capability with Adobe Creative Suite 3 (especially PhotoShop and Flash), as well as understanding of GUI layout principles and graphics optimization.
  • Knowledgeable of Web site analytics, content management systems, blogging platforms, pod casting formats, and Web site hosting,
  • Familiarity with server-side scripting, data-base connectivity, RSS feeds, and third-party tool integration.
  • Experienced with some or all of the following is a plus: Action Script 3.0, non-linear video editing with Final Cut Pro, digital video compression, Web/video integration, AJAX and XML.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

2. Position/Title: Video Editor
Location: New York, NY

Job Description:

The Clinton Foundation’s Video Editor will work under the direction of the Marketing Department to produce short-form video content to highlight the Clinton Foundation’s main messages and programs. These videos, which will be for both web and other audiences, will be able to both “tell a story” and provide substantive background and an incentive to give. The Video Editor will work with the members of the Marketing and Development departments to understand project needs and develop quality videos in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience and comfort with Final Cut Pro, Studio Pro, Photoshop, CS3, and Flash, and be MAC and PC literate. The candidate will also be a good shooter, and will be able to cover press events. It is essential that the candidate have excellent spoken and written communication skills, and can both work independently with confidence and creativity, or collaboratively, integrating feedback from a variety of sources.

Knowledge and Skills (Minimum requirements):

Demonstrate exceptional skills and capabilities in the following areas:

  • Professional video editing experience for broadcast and online publishers
  • Able to handle various video formats: .mov, .avi, sony mini-dv, sony beta sp, full dvd
  • Understanding of video compression and encoding techniques for use online
  • Advanced knowledge of Final Cut Pro/2 editing platform essential
  • Knowledge of the following software/applications: Apple Compressor, Apple DVD Studio Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash YouTube, Brightcove, Maven, GoogleVideo
  • Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast paced, deadline driven business environment on a daily basis
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
  • Time management / organizational skills ("multi-tasking") with attention to detail
  • Effective internal and external communication skills
  • Leadership qualities including self-motivation, resilience, positive attitude, and a team player - ability to both give and take direction.
  • Able to “tell a story” with little direction using visual and audio assets

3. Position/Title: Program Manager for Private Sector Initiatives, Economic Opportunity Initiative
Location: New York Preferred

The Clinton Foundation’s Economic Opportunity Initiative’s financial mainstream program advances efforts helping low and middle income people access lower cost, mainstream financial services and get on a path to financial stability and success. Reporting to the Foundation’s domestic policy advisor, the program manager for private sector initiatives will play a leading role in reaching out to and engaging business— from financial service companies to employers— in developing innovative, market-driven approaches expanding access to socially responsible financial products and services and helping people achieve personal financial goals. The program manager will also conduct in-depth analysis of business and financial trends relevant to the Initiative’s mission and provide ongoing counsel of these issues to Initiative staff and partners.

Candidates should have:

  • Minimum 7 years of high impact professional experience in areas such as community development, retail banking, finance, management consulting.
  • Demonstrated success with complex negotiations and building coalitions.
  • Exceptional analytical, writing and oral communications skills.
  • Ability to build relationships, manage stakeholders and exercise a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
  • A deep commitment to the Foundation’s mission and its programs.
  • Undergraduate degree required. J.D., MBA and/or other graduate degree preferred.

4. Position/Title: Administrative Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer
Location: New York, NY

5. Position/Title: Systems Engineer
Location:
New York, NY

Description:

The William J. Clinton Foundation Systems Engineer will have a clear understanding of the business value of IT and proficiency in utilizing technical expertise to provide complex technical support (daily and on-call) for desktop, servers, network systems, phone systems and applications. She/he will exhibit excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills. This position will report directly to the William J. Clinton Foundation’s Director of Information Technology & Information Systems based in New York.

In this position, you will be responsible for supporting Windows Operating Systems and the organization’s network.

  • Support the Foundation’s Active Directory environment.
  • Monitor all Servers (DCs, Database, DNS) and backups
  • Build out servers, install and configure applications.
  • Perform server and network monitoring, capacity planning, and event handling.
  • Perform hardware and software deployment.
  • Support network switches, firewalls and VPN.
  • Support XP desktops (backups, anti-virus and OS updates.)

Qualifications Required:

  • Must have extensive knowledge and experience in MS Windows 2000/XP/2003 Server.
  • Extensive AD/WINS/DNS experience.
  • Experience with Internet and Infrastructure technologies (IIS, .NET, AD, Exchange.)
  • Experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting hardware and applications.
  • Experience with build automation (imaging, unattended.)
  • Understanding of LAN/WAN networks - connectivity, routing, data transfer, protocols, firewalls, TCP/IP.
  • Experience with Blackberry Enterprise Servers and Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server.

Experience Required:

  • 3+ yrs of hands-on systems engineering experience preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge in Active Directory, DNS.
  • Extensive knowledge of networking fundamentals.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco routers and switches a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of VMWare a plus.
  • Microsoft Certification preferred. (MCSA, MCSE)
  • BA degree preferred.
