The Center draws talent and energy to the heart of America and radiates its creative ideas, programs, and solutions to the four corners of the world. It is a leading force for peace and prosperity, freedom and security, and a global community rooted in shared values, shared benefits, and shared responsibilities. President Clinton chose Arkansas, his beloved home state, as the site for the Center to provide the region, especially its youth, with an institution that preserves and promotes the uniquely American heritage of progressive ideas.
