Art as an Expression of Culture — Sculpting in Bronze by Mrs. Susan Williams, with special guest artist, Mr. Samuel Akainyah, President, Akainyah Gallery, Chicago, IL.

February 13-28 - On display near Great Hall
Portrait presentations highlighting key African American cabinet leaders responsible for developing and implementing policy during the Clinton Presidency.

Saturday, February 17 - 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Great Hall
An Afternoon of Art and Education. Book fair, music, storytelling and youth activities. Presented by Pyramid Art, Books and Custom Framing.

Saturday, February 24 -11:00AM-2:00 PM, Great Hall
Strike Up the Drums. Percussion exhibits, drum circles, workshops conducted by Stephin Booth.

Events surrounding Black History Month are free, but tours of the library are not included.
