Angela Brown's performance on Thursday, February 12, before an audience of nearly 300 in the Great Hall of the Clinton Presidential Center was nothing short of spectacular. Ms. Brown presented her witty and inspired recital program entitled, "

." Her program for the evening included selections from Aida and Porgy and Bess as well as three songs from Margaret Garner, "Cilla's Prayer," "He is By," and "Epilogue." Her sheer vocal power and a charming personality larger than life captivated the audience and was an integral part of the Center's Black History Month programming.

On Friday, February 13, Ms. Brown conducted a master vocal class for selected students from local schools. Her personality again charmed the students and her knowledge of her craft was evident in their command of new skills.
