Clinton Center to Celebrate the Life of Bill Clark
The Clinton Center will pay tribute to the life and legacy of Bill Clark, dear friend of President Clinton and the contractor who built the Clinton Center.
Beginning Thursday, May 17, a temporary memorial will be stationed in the lobby area of the Clinton Center and will contain several pictures and a memorial book. The Clinton Foundation invites friends, acquaintances, coworkers and others who helped build the Clinton Center to sign the book.
As founder and chief executive officer of CDI Contractors, the opening of the Clinton Center in 2004 was the major professional highlight in a long successful career. He took great pride in building this world-renowned structure for his good friend President Bill Clinton and for his community.
Clark, known as a business and community leader, passed away Tuesday. In his memory, friends have established the Bill Clark Presidential Park Wetlands, and educational exhibit that includes the restoration of 13 acres of wetlands on the banks of the Arkansas River in the Clinton Presidential Park. The family asks that memorials be made to the Parks Conservancy, P.O. Box 7329, Little Rock, AR 72217, for the construction and maintenance of the Wetlands Project.
