Internships: New York - Clinton Global Initiative (Midtown)
The Clinton Global Initiative is a non-partisan catalyst for action, bringing together a community of global leaders to devise and implement innovative solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges. The Clinton Global Initiative is focused on generating practical action to address some of the most serious global issues: how to reduce poverty, how to improve education, how to meet increasing energy needs while addressing climate change, and how to improve global health. Initiative members include some of the world’s most accomplished leaders and problem solvers, from business, government, and non-government organizations, who each make a personal commitment through CGI to take action in our areas of focus. The centerpiece of CGI’s year is the Annual Meeting of CGI members, held in New York City in late September, where a diverse and powerful collection of commitments are developed and announced. Thus far, CGI has generated in excess of $10 billion in commitments, benefiting more than 1,000 organizations and helping people in over 100 countries. Throughout the year, CGI’s dedicated team follows-up on commitments and facilitates progress. Interns are an integral part of the team, effectively doubling the size of the staff.
